Tether to launch new stablecoin token pegged to British pound

• The GBP₮ token will be 1:1 pegged with the British pound and run on the Ethereum network.
• The release is scheduled for early July
• Tether CTO Paolo Ardoino said, “the United Kingdom is the next frontier for blockchain innovation.”
