This year, we’ve had both naysayers and firm believers in NFTs. Whichever side you’re on, we’re here to showcase some NFT collections apart from BAYC that you simply must be a part of. Despite much FUD, these collections are strong in their use case and are likely to lead the next trend.
The gorgeous collaboration of FashionTV and the NFTv SocialFi project, the FTV Pandas collection will launch in Q3 2022. The collection comprises of 9.999 unique NFTs that each have various levels of uniqueness and earning power. Apart from an obviously adorable PFP for all holders, each FTV Panda also offers holders various ways to earn from owning the NFT. The NFT will function as a key to the entire SocialFi project, granting holders not only access to all global NFTv clubs, access to high-end luxury items, airdrops and more, but also profitability through NFTv. In fact, NFTv has been a significant part of FashionTV’s anniversary parties through Q3 2022, kicking off grandly in Phuket with more to come. It’s only fitting that the world’s best in fashion entertainment and the NFTv SocialFi project are coming together to create one of the most fashionable NFT collections this season.

One commonality we’ve seen is the affiliation with celebrities, or well-known brands. Just as NFTv’s first collection partners celebrities, fashion and adorable NFTs, VeeFriends is an NFT project from Gary Vee, famous entrepreneur and speaker. The VeeFriends project is an NFT project around meaningful intellectual property and an extraordinary community. The VeeFriends community is strong and growing, and each holder gets access to the annual Vee conference, the first NFT ticketed conference in the world. While pretty adorable on their own, VeeFriends will be especially attractive to fans of the businessman, and for good reason.
No list of popular NFTs would be complete without at least something from Yuga Labs. Yuga Labs recently acquired CryptoPunks, a collection of 10,000 unique collectible characters with proof of ownership stored on the Ethereum blockchain. Similar to BAYC, they have first-mover advantage being one of the earliest examples of an NFT on Ethereum. In fact, they claim to have been inspiration for the ERC-721 standard that powers most digital art and collectibles. While they’re pretty expensive right now, owning one sure gives you bragging rights and there’s no doubt that the popularity of Yuga Labs’ NFTs will continue for quite a while, being the company that some say will take over the metaverse.
