Developer toolkit Transak and Web3 gaming platform Sequence announced a partnership with the goal of enhancing Web3 gaming payments and infrastructure.

Transak is renowned for its Web2-to-Web3 infrastructure solutions, including Fiat Onramp/Offramp, NFT Checkout, multi-level KYC, and fiat-to-smart contract products. These solutions facilitate seamless in-game payments and onboarding.
Sami Start, CEO & Co-founder of Transak, stated that this collaboration represents a big advancement in the Web3 gaming sector, improving the experience of both developers and gamers.

What Does Transak Bring to Sequence?
Transak is the exclusive on-ramp provider for Sequence Kit and offers users the ability to buy cryptocurrencies directly within the Sequence platform using over 20+ local payment methods across 160+ countries.
The Sequence Unity software development kit (SDK) has already integrated Transak’s on-ramp functionality. As a result, any game utilizing Sequence activates a pre-configured on-ramp link that enables players to fund their Sequence Embedded Wallets with fiat currency.
The Sequence team plans to integrate this feature into the Unreal Engine SDK in the coming weeks.
Transak’s infrastructure is capable of handling high transaction volumes, ensuring smooth performance even during peak usage times.
This ensures a seamless experience for players and allows developers to integrate complex blockchain features without compromising gameplay.
Web3 Gaming is Heading for a ‘Massive Breakout’
In an exclusive interview with Cryptonews, Jack O’Holleran, the co-founder and CEO of SKALE Labs, discussed Web3 gaming and its path to a “massive breakout.”
Talking with Cryptonews Podcast host Matt Zahab, he argued that the industry is not far from reaching millions of players and discussed whether social apps could reach these wider audiences.
He cited partnerships with major platforms like Unity and Epic Games Store as catalysts for a forthcoming breakout.
O’Holleran predicted that casual mobile games on Web3 could lead this expansion, transforming the gaming experience with cryptocurrency integration and asset interaction. These games are excellent at quickly capturing and keeping interest, so people keep on playing.
“If you could do that and be in this fun cryptocurrency environment where you’re using Web3 and playing with these assets […] it just takes things to a different level,” O’Holleran said.
