President Joe Biden and former President Donald Trump took the stage in Atlanta on the debate floor. At the beginning of the debate, Biden waved at Trump and then launched into a critique of Trump’s presidency in response to a question about inflation.
Biden argued that Trump was a terrible president, mentioning in his usual campaign rhetoric that Putin’s terms are unacceptable and opening up about his efforts to lower the cost of prescription drugs and insulin. Trump’s defense focused on his tax cuts, which he claimed spurred economic growth.

Biden said that Trump has no idea about the environment and accused him of backing out of the Paris Climate Accord. However, Trump said, “The Paris Climate Accord costed us trillions of dollar. It cost nothing to China, Russia and India. I ended the Paris Climate Accord because it was costing us tremendously.”
Trump Will Not Block Abortion Medication If Elected
“I put three great Supreme Court justices on the court and they happened to vote in favor of killing Roe v. Wade, and moving it back to the states. Now the states are working it out,” Trump said adding how he would not block abortion medications.

CNN reported that Trump spoke for 23 minutes and 6 seconds, where as Biden’s speaking time totaled approximately 18 minutes and 26 seconds.

In fresh strings of feisty remarks, Biden said, “We are the most admired country in the world. No one thinks we are weak. The idea of me being the worst president — 159 presidential historians have voted on presidents and they decided he was the worst president in the history of the US.”
Biden Reminds Trump of His Legal Troubles and Fines
Biden said, “The crimes you are still charged with. Think of all the civil penalties you have. How many billions of dollars do you owe in civil penalties for molesting a woman in public… for having sex with a porn star on the night, while your wife was pregnant? What are you talking about? You have the morals of an alley cat.”
Trump Promises to Bring Journalist Evan Gershkovich back
“As soon as I win the election, I will have that reporter out,” Trump said about Wall Street Journalist reporter Evan Gershkovich, who is currently on trial for espionage in Russia.
