Metaplanet amended its articles for Bitcoin strategy as it approved 10:1 share consolidation and has increased the authorized shares from 22.8 Million to 65 Million. It also elected 5 new directors to pursue new business opportunities, expand into emerging fields, enhance corporate value, and strengthen management structure. This comes after Metaplanet announced the acquisition of over 20.2 Bitcoin as part of its ongoing strategy to bolster its BTC holdings. It revealed investing 200 million yen (equivalent to $1.2 million) to acquire the additional BTC, bringing its total holdings to 161.3 BTC.
