Small transfers under $1000 remained low, while transactions between $1,000 and $10,000 saw a slight rise, indicating increased retail participation. Transfers between $10,000 and $1 million, which reflect institutional activity, increased to 20-30% of the total volume. Large transfers that are from $1 million to $10 million grew initially but declined, stabilizing by late May.
