Singapore Exchange has currently no plans to permit cryptocurrency listings, which is contrary to the growing global adoption of crypto ETFs in Hong Kong, the United States, Australia, and Canada. At the Reuters NEXT conference, CEO Loh Boon Chye noted that the current market conditions are not conducive to introducing such products. When asked about the potential for crypto ETF listings, Loh responded ‘Not at the moment’. However, he did not rule out future possibilities of Bitcoin and crypto ETF listings.
