Bedrock DeFi has become a target of hackers, with the platform losing $1.7 million from the uniBTC pool. Currently, the attacker’s wallet associated with Tornado Cash contains 650 ETH ($1,7 million). Bedrock has admitted to the breach, but, wBTC and BTC reserves held at the protocol are safe and unaffected. The combined effect is believed to be approximately $2 million from DEX liquidity pools. The volume is already being reimbursed in full, and, with audit teams, Bedrock is in the process of recovering the stolen funds – this will also be followed by the Proof of Reserves report.
