Hyper Foundation has officially launched the HYPE token staking function on the mainnet. Users can now stake their HYPE tokens to trusted validation nodes and earn staking rewards. As with other proof-of-stake networks, new blocks on Hyperliquid will be proposed by validators based on the amount of HYPE staked to them. To further decentralize the network, Hyper Foundation will introduce a Delegation Program to support high-performing validators. However, it’s important to note that while locked tokens can be staked, their rewards will remain locked.
