Bitcoin Turns 16, Price Hits 96k

Bitcoin has entered its 16th year of existence and has fueled significant buzz among marketers. Despite the sideways trend, the BTC price has registered a marginal uptick of 1.11% to $96,635.50. The market capitalization now stands at $1.91 trillion, which saw a boost with the intraday trading volume surging by 43.03% to $41.46 billion.

Altcoins Show Broad Gains

Ethereum price today has experienced a 1.3% uptick in 24 hours to its current price of $3,449.92. Meanwhile, Solana has outrun Ethereum with a 1.91% gain to a new price tag of $208.52. XRP too stood tough, recording a 1.38% price jump to reach $2.43.

Top Gainers and Losers

Among the top-performing assets, SPX led the pack with an impressive 23.23% gain, trading at $1.19. FARTCOIN and DeXe followed closely, climbing 17.39% and 14.34%, respectively. On the flip side, VIRTUAL took the highest losses, dropping 14.65% to $4.32. HYPE and PENGU also struggled, declining 10.05% and 5.83%.
