THORChain plans a minor Mainnet upgrade to version 3.6.0, focusing on Rujira contract checksum updates, scheduled for May 22, 2025.

THORChain has announced a Mainnet upgrade to version 3.6.0, which is scheduled to occur at block 21,210,000. The upgrade is anticipated to take place on May 22, 2025, at approximately 17:00 UTC. This minor update primarily focuses on updating contract checksums for Rujira, according to THORChain on Medium.

The upgrade does not include any critical fixes or consensus-breaking changes. The release is part of routine maintenance aimed at enhancing the network’s efficiency and security.

Validator Action Required

Validators are required to approve the upgrade proposal using the command line interface (CLI). The steps include:

Validators are advised to ensure their votes are submitted promptly to facilitate a smooth upgrade process.

For those seeking further technical details, the v3.6.0 release notes are available on GitLab, and the target block can be monitored on RuneScan.
