Why Shiba Inu Is Losing Demand? (SHIB)

Shiba Inu fell a leg further on Thursday, slipping to a low of $0.0000054 on the charts. The dog-themed token has been reaching new lows each month, and August is no different. The entire meme currency ecosystem is on a ventilator, struggling to breathe and survive in the financial sector. If the trend continues, the day won’t be too far when the sector’s obituary is written. People who have invested big in SHIB risk losing it all, while those who bought small amounts of tokens will be able to digest the loss.

The latest data from CoinGecko sheds light on the fact that trading activity in Shiba Inu has declined by 18%. This signals a loss of confidence in the meme currency, as it has nothing to offer to the financial sector. All of its projects, including Shibarium, SHIB: The Metaverse, and the card game Shiba Eternity, have all failed to live up to its expectations. While Shibarium is operational, the other projects have fizzled out, with hardly anyone using them.

Investors have realized that there is no point in Shiba Inu being a financial asset. This has made investments in the dog-themed token completely dry up. It has no profit-delivering ability, its projects have failed, and its future looks bleak. All of this is a recipe for disaster, and a cocktail for failure is brewing next. SHIB can only go down from here, but heading north is a herculean task. Traders who took an entry position between 2021 and 2023 have accepted their fate and made peace with the losses.

Not just Shiba Inu; even Dogecoin, Bonk, and Pepe, among others, have faced a similar fate. Dogecoin is failing despite having the support of the world’s richest man, Elon Musk. This proves that when tokens have no use cases in the real world, the endorsement of any celebrity is worthless. Only those who pulled the plug at his highs are the ones who truly made the best use of meme currencies. The others only brought it into the hype, but could not sell it.
