LONDON, UK – August 7, 2026 – Lithosphere, the AI-native Layer 1 blockchain built for Web4 applications and autonomous systems, announced that its Makalu Testnet has surpassed 1.6 million indexed blocks. The milestone reflects sustained block production and explorer indexing across the live test network as Lithosphere continues testing the infrastructure that will support broader network participation, developer deployment, and agent-native onchain activity.
Makalu provides a public environment where developers and users can inspect blocks and transactions, connect to network endpoints, test wallet flows, and validate application behavior before wider deployment. Faucet claiming gives participants access to test assets for transfers, contract interactions, and development workflows, creating a practical path from initial wallet setup to repeatable network testing without requiring production assets.
The testnet milestone also gives Lithosphere a larger operating history for evaluating execution, infrastructure reliability, developer tooling, and network observability.
