In a recent development, Binance annuounced removing the tokens GFT, IRIS, KEY OAX and REN from its platform on December 10, 2024 citing a lack of compliance with industry standards. The news triggered a significant sell off as the tokens dropped over 30%-50% shortly after the news. Notably, Most of these tokens had registered lower trading volumes over the past few months,as REN’s trading actively dropped from $34 million in March to nearly $6 million in early November, while OAX volume fell from a peak of $101 million in March to $468,000 in October, indicating poor liquidity and lack of adoption.
