Binance Futures, a prominent player in the cryptocurrency derivatives market, has announced the listing of USDⓈ-M and COIN-M Quarterly 1227 Delivery Contracts. This development will take place shortly after the expiration and settlement of the USDⓈ-M and COIN-M Quarterly 0628 Delivery Contracts, scheduled for June 28, 2024, at 08:00 (UTC), according to Binance.

New Listings and Details

The new contracts will include COIN-M BTC, ETH, BNB, ADA, LINK, BCH, XRP, DOT, and LTC Quarterly 1227 Delivery Contracts. These listings are part of Binance’s ongoing efforts to provide a wide range of trading options to its users.

Important Notes for Traders

Binance has issued specific guidelines for traders regarding these new contracts. Users will only be permitted to close their positions or place Reduce Only orders and will not be allowed to open any new positions within ten minutes prior to the delivery. For detailed information on delivery and settlement processes, users are advised to refer to the official Delivery and Settlement of Quarterly Futures page.

Market Context

This move comes at a time when the cryptocurrency market is experiencing significant volatility. The introduction of new futures contracts is seen as a strategy to offer more opportunities for traders to hedge and speculate on the price movements of major cryptocurrencies. Binance’s continuous expansion of its futures product lineup underscores its commitment to maintaining its position as a leading cryptocurrency exchange.

Disclaimer and Risk Warning

Binance has reiterated the high risks associated with futures trading. The exchange advises traders to exercise caution due to the potential for significant losses. Detailed risk warnings and responsible trading guidelines are available on Binance’s official website.

Binance reserves the right to amend or cancel the announcement at any time and for any reason without prior notice. Users are encouraged to stay updated through Binance’s official channels.
