Binance, one of the world’s leading cryptocurrency exchanges, has announced its support for the upcoming network upgrades and hard forks of MultiversX (EGLD) and Ronin (RON). This move aims to ensure a seamless user experience during these significant updates, according to Binance.

MultiversX (EGLD) Network Upgrade

The MultiversX (EGLD) network upgrade is scheduled to occur at approximately 2024-07-02 16:20 (UTC). In preparation for the upgrade, Binance will suspend deposits and withdrawals of tokens on the MultiversX (EGLD) network starting from 2024-07-02 15:20 (UTC). Trading of EGLD tokens will not be affected during this period.

Ronin (RON) Network Upgrade and Hard Fork

The Ronin (RON) network upgrade and hard fork will take place at the block height of 36,052,600, or around 2024-07-03 07:00 (UTC). Consequently, Binance will suspend deposits and withdrawals of tokens on the Ronin (RON) network from 2024-07-03 06:00 (UTC). Similar to the MultiversX upgrade, trading of RON tokens will continue without interruption.

Important Notes

Binance has assured its users that trading activities on the aforementioned networks will not be impacted. The exchange will manage all technical requirements involved in the upgrades. Deposits and withdrawals will resume once the upgraded networks are deemed stable. Binance will not issue a further announcement regarding the reopening of these services.

Users are advised to be aware of potential discrepancies in translated versions of the announcement. For the most accurate and up-to-date information, users should refer to the original English version.
