Starting in October on a bearish week, the cryptocurrency market witnessed a weekly crash in Bitcoin of 5.30%, with Ethereum taking a quick plunge of 9.03%. Bitcoin now trades near $62k and Ethereum near $2,400. Further, the altcoin market, excluding Bitcoin and Ethereum, witnessed a drop in total market cap below the critical support of $600 million, reflecting a 6.60% decline. The Bitcoin ETF market also suffered a significant hit, bleeding $337 million. Additionally, Bitcoin’s open interest (OI) fell from $35.25 billion to $32.79 billion.
