According to Bloomberg ETF analyst Eric Balchunas, the U.S. spot Bitcoin ETF holdings have exceeded Satoshi Nakamoto’s total holdings, reaching approximately 1,104,534 BTC, making it the entity with the most Bitcoin in the world. Notably, the cumulative holding time of these ETFs is less than one year. BlackRock’s Bitcoin ETF has enjoyed the most success among these funds. IBIT currently holds $51.46 billion in AUM, almost half of the $109.15 billion in total net assets these funds hold. BlackRock’s IBIT also just crossed the record $50 billion mark. Satoshi Nakamoto’s holdings of approximately 1,100,000 BTC ranked second, followed by Binance (633,103), MicroStrategy (402,100), and the U.S. government (198,109).
