The Arkham Intelligence in its latest tweet has reminded that “El Salvador is buying”. It holds $359.58M in BTC and is still buying every day. Notably, the government under Nayib Bukele has been purchasing 1 BTC every day regardless of the price action, since late 2022 and has been recording purchases directly on-chain since March this year. Its average purchase price currently stands at $59,358. Bitcoin is the only public asset that the El Salvador Government currently holds in its cryptocurrency portfolio.
