GeForce NOW collaborates with CurseForge to bring mod support to ‘World of Warcraft: The War Within’ in the cloud. Explore new addons and features.

GeForce NOW members can now experience World of Warcraft with in-game mods through a collaboration with the CurseForge platform, according to the NVIDIA Blog. This partnership allows players to access over 25 top CurseForge Addons in the cloud, enhancing their gaming experience even further.

The upcoming World of Warcraft expansion, The War Within, is set to launch on Monday, August 26, at 3 p.m. PT. GeForce NOW members who purchase the Epic Edition of the expansion will get early streaming access on Thursday, August 22, at 3 p.m. PT.

In addition to World of Warcraft, five new games have been added to the GeForce NOW library this week, including the Psychonauts series from Double Fine Productions. The Summer Sale offers new one- and six-month Ultimate and Priority memberships at 50% off through Sunday, August 18.

Play Your Way

GeForce NOW and CurseForge have teamed up to bring a seamless modding experience to World of Warcraft. Players can now enjoy user interface customization, combat Addons, action bars, quest helpers, and more. With over 25 top Addons available, Ultimate and Priority members, including Day Pass users, can easily customize their WoW experience without needing a CurseForge account.

After launching WoW on GeForce NOW, players can enable Addons from the game’s menu. The Addons update automatically, and GeForce NOW remembers the selected Addons for each game launch. This feature is available across all supported WoW experiences, including Classic and Cataclysm Classic.

Players can share their World of Warcraft Addons in the cloud on social media using #ModsonGFN for a chance to be featured on GeForce NOW’s channels.

Dive to New Depths

With the release of The War Within expansion, players will explore new zones, dungeons, and raids in the heart of Azeroth. Early streaming access is available for those who purchase the Epic Edition. The expansion introduces Warbands, an account-wide progression system, and the new Skyriding feature.

Players can also participate in the Radiant Echoes event, collect Residual Memories, and gear up with new items for Warband collections. The expansion promises to deliver an immersive and expansive gameplay experience, continuing the epic tales and battles in Azeroth.

Mind Over Matter

The Psychonauts franchise, developed by Double Fine Productions, is now available on GeForce NOW. Players can follow the story of Razputin “Raz” Aquato, a young psychic who joins a summer camp for psychic spies-in-training. Psychonauts 2 delves deeper into Raz’s family background and the workings of the Psychonauts organization.

With a GeForce NOW Ultimate or Priority account, players can explore intricately designed mental worlds, engaging in platforming and puzzle-solving gameplay.

Get With the Newness

Hunt: Showdown 1896 from Crytek introduces a new era for the tactical first-person extraction game. The new PC update features the Mammon’s Gulch map, offering new elevation points and strategic angles for players.

Other new releases include:

  • Level Zero: Extraction (Steam, Aug. 13)
  • shapez 2 (Steam, Aug. 15)
  • Car Manufacture (Steam)
  • Psychonauts (Steam)
  • Psychonauts 2 (Steam, Xbox, PC Game Pass)

GeForce NOW continues to expand its library, offering a diverse range of games for its members. Share your weekend gaming plans on Twitter or in the comments below.
