In the last three days, three different hackers have deposited a combined total of 17,800 Ethereum tokens worth $42.7 million into Tornado Cash. It has recently become popular amongst crypto hackers as a privacy-focused crypto mixer. The top hackers include the Penpie hacker with 9,600 Ethereum deposits worth $23 million; the Indian exchange WazirX hacker moved 7,200 Ethereum, worth $17.3 million; and the $42 million stolen from Fenbushi Capital’s founder; the hacker has deposited 1,000 Ethereum, worth $2.4 million. All the deposited Ethereum over the Tornado Cash has helped the hackers whitewash the stolen crypto funds.
