Cuban’s Meme Coin To Mirror TRUMP
Mark Cuban took to X (formerly Twitter) and revealed that he intends to launch a meme coin. While it will be similar to TRUMP it entails a key difference. The twist is that all coin sales proceeds will go straight to the US Treasury to aid in the reduction of the national debt. The Shark Tank host presented Mark Cuban’s plan on X, promising a 20% float and a release timeline that corresponded with the TRUMP currency.

While this seems like a great addition to the industry, the community did not shy away from warning Mark Cuban. NFT influencer artchick.eth responded by cautioning him about possible problems. The X user noted that because meme coins are usually speculative, such ventures frequently result in losses for early adopters. artchick also emphasized how challenging it is to guarantee community-driven development and sustainable growth to Mark Cuban.

Dogecoin & Shiba Inu Get Shout Out
Cuban was seen understanding the NFT influencer’s perspective. He noted that her worries were valid. The billionaire concurred that creating a committed community is essential to meme coin’s success in the long run. He cited Dogecoin (DOGE) and Shiba Inu (SHIB) as instances of currencies that have remained relevant through the development of a significant number of users. He added,
“We agree. It’s why Doge, Shibu Inu, and only a few others have worked. It’s about the community long term. I’m not saying buyers won’t get rekt. I said it was gambling. It’s a game of musical chairs. No promises. No pumps by me. Just complete transparency“
Shytoshi Kusama, the lead developer of the Shiba Inu network was alerted in no time. He quickly asked Mark Cuban to look into SHIB. The developer went on to urge the billionaire to get on a 10-minute call. Kusama said,
“Take a 10-minute call and see that it’s not just community but real technology that keeps us going. Otherwise, you’ll release another meme like everyone else.“
