- Ronin is finally live on OpenSea, letting users trade and launch Ronin-based NFTs more easily than ever.
- Developers can now build on an open Ronin network with tools that simplify game and NFT project creation.
Ronin is finally live on OpenSea. After long being the exclusive home of collectibles like Axie Infinity, the blockchain network can now be used to trade and launch NFTs directly on the world’s largest marketplace.
On OpenSea, users can now directly sell, buy, and create Ronin-based NFTs. The process is made quite friendly, even for those who have never coded before.
Ronin is LIVE on Opensea!
Claim your FREE Jin and Ronke mint
Over seven years ago, the Opensea and Axie founders met in the Cryptokitties Discord, kicking off two industry-defining movements.
It’s time to welcome old friends home.

With just a Ronin wallet and a small amount of RON as gas fees, users can launch their collections through OpenSea Studio. It’s like opening an online store without having to know how to build a website from scratch. Devin Finzer, CEO of Opensea, stated:
“Integrating Ronin expands OpenSea’s reach into web3 gaming, giving OS2 users access to the Ronin ecosystem. We’re excited to be a part of the future of blockchain gaming and the communities driving its growth.”
Claim Free NFTs and Enter the Fast Lane With Ronin
As a welcome, Ronin and OpenSea have a surprise: two free NFTs named “Jin” and “Ronke” can be claimed until Saturday, March 29. The process is simple, just connect your Ronin wallet to OpenSea, then claim the NFTs.

This step certainly makes Ronin more open and inclusive. If previously Ronin NFTs were like at a dead end, now they have entered a toll road. This also creates new opportunities for local creators, enabling them to leverage the gaming and NFT ecosystem without being hindered by technical barriers.
From Invite-Only to Open Access: Ronin Goes Permissionless
On the other hand, on February 12, 2025, Ronin had already made a major update by becoming permissionless. In layman’s terms: now everyone can join, not just a special invitation.
This decision was accompanied by the launch of the Ronin Developer Console, a set of tools that help developers create games, dApps, or DeFi projects faster and easier.
This tool eliminates the need for developers to construct everything from the beginning. Just use the tool, set a few settings, and the project can be run on the Ronin network. Furthermore, this is believed to trigger a wave of new games that can make us lose track of time while playing them.
Manage Digital Assets Right From Your Browser
Still on the subject of convenience, CNF previously reported that the beta version of the Ronin Web Wallet had been released. This wallet allows users to manage digital assets directly from the browser, without having to download additional applications. Imagine being able to check your balance, transfer assets, or sign transactions while watching a live stream—it’s that easy.
This feature is not just about convenience, it’s also about inclusion. Many users, especially in developing countries, use browsers more often than dedicated wallet apps. With a web wallet, the barrier is lowered. The NFT and blockchain-based gaming space feels closer.
Network Upgrade Completed With No Trading Disruptions
However, all of this progress is inseparable from the technical processes behind the scenes. On March 17, 2025, Ronin conducted a hard fork, which temporarily suspended deposits and withdrawals of tokens on the network. Even so, trading continued normally. Binance also fully supported the process, ensuring that everything returned to stability in a short time.
As of press time, RON is swapped hands at about $0.8082, up 1.55% over the last 7 days, but still corrected 28.76% over the last 30 days.
