Hackers recently hijacked the official YouTube channel of the Supreme Court of India that displayed content related to Ripple Labs’ cryptocurrency, XRP. The channel, previously used to livestream hearings on public interest matters, now displays a video titled “Brad Garlinghouse: Ripple Responds To The SEC’s $2 Billion Fine! XRP PRICE PREDICTION. About earlier court hearings, hackers have privatized those. There is a trend now where scammers hack popular channels to promote cryptocurrencies, and Ripple already sued YouTube for such violations, including the impersonation of its CEO.
