Tron’s memecoin launchpad SunPump pushed the blockchain’s Q3 revenue to a record $151.2 million, up nearly 30% from the previous quarter, Messari reports. A frenzy saw 89,000 tokens launched on SunPump between mid-August and September, spiking decentralized finance transactions by 487%. TRX remained deflationary with 587.6 million tokens burned. However, new token launches dropped significantly in September. SunDog became the top memecoin with a $217 million market cap. Despite strong Q3 growth, Tron’s Total Value Locked (TVL) slipped to $6.98 billion, down 32.8% from its March 2024 high.
