This is truflation, an intentionally decentralized oracle service that was breached on September 25, 2024, and lost $5m. The scam, for instance, which was recently identified by on-chain analysts ZachXBT and SlowMist, aimed at the Truflation treasury multi-sig and personal wallets. Because of a threat actor’s interception of the safe address, 56,872,500 $TRUF tokens were stolen. Truflation’s team has since ceased staking and teamed up with the police and cybersecurity professionals to go after the attacker and recover the stolen funds. Liquidity is still probing low across decentralized exchanges during the investigation.
