According to a latest Bloomberg report, President-elect Donald Trump is considering creating a new White House post dedicated entirely to cryptocurrency policy. The role would be the first-ever crypto-specific White House post which highlights the crypto industry’s prominent role in the Trump administration. Trump’s transition team is considering current and former CFTC officials to chair the financial regulatory agency. However, it’s unclear whether the position would be more similar to a senior staff position at the White House or as a “crypto czar”.
