The VeChain ecosystem has grown rapidly in recent years, and the blockchain network is now rewarding these users for interacting with some of the most popular applications and playing a part in its sustainability drive.
VeChain announced the initiative yesterday, stating:
We want to reward people making positive daily decisions for themselves and the world – that’s why we launched our incentive-powered platform, VeBetterDAO!
To participate, users must download VeWorld, the powerful wallet designed by the VeChain Foundation. They then have to enter the URL of any participating dApp on the wallet’s ‘Discover’ tab and bookmark them. After that, they will be eligible to receive rewards for daily activities.

One of the participating dApps is Cleanify, an application that rewards users for cleaning up their local surroundings through simple actions such as placing the trash in bins or picking up litter. While it just launched recently, Cleanify records close to 3,000 daily actions from users and rewards them with B3TR, the native token of the VeBetterDAO platform.

In addition to the daily actions, users can gain B3TR by organizing group campaigns. These campaigns are accessible on the Cleanify app and website, allowing anyone in the neighbourhood to participate. The platform pledges to offer up to 1,000 B3TR tokens to be shared by the participants. These campaigns have already started in Sweden, the Netherlands, Germany, and the UK.

Even smaller actions are rewarded on VeChain, including selecting to stream an audiobook rather than buying a paperback version. The Non-Fungible Book Club rewards you for choosing the more sustainable version.
