The post Vitalik Buterin Suggests Big Upgrades to Ethereum’s PoS: Faster Finality and Easier Staking appeared first on Coinpedia Fintech News

Ethereum co-founder Vitalik Buterin recently shared ideas to improve Ethereum’s proof-of-stake (PoS) model. Since “The Merge,” Ethereum has gained stability, yet Buterin sees room for progress, particularly in transaction speed and staking access. His vision includes “Single-Slot Finality,” reducing transaction finalization from 15 minutes to 12 seconds, and boosting user security. Additionally, Buterin proposes lowering the staking minimum from 32 ETH to 1 ETH, encouraging more solo stakers and enhancing decentralization. To achieve these changes, Buterin outlines solutions like advanced signature aggregation and “Orbit Committees.” These upgrades could make Ethereum more secure, efficient, and accessible for a broader audience.
