An ancient Ethereum whale is back to sell after four long months of silence. The whale sold 12,979 ETH worth $34.3M last week, while the ETH market price bounced by 6%. Initially, the whale withdrew 21,632 ETH exchanges like Shapeshift and Poloniex at the then-market price of $7.07. In the second half of 2024, the whale has sold off 15,879 ETH worth $43.5M for an average of $2,739. Currently, the whale holds 5,760 ETH worth $15.5M with an estimated profit of $58.84M, a staggering return of almost 140x.
