New research from Glassnode estimates that around 6.04 million Bitcoin — worth roughly $469 billion — may be vulnerable to future quantum computing attacks because their public keys are already exposed on-chain. The report says much of the risk comes from address reuse, with crypto exchanges alone holding about 1.66 million BTC in potentially unsafe wallets.
