Holding XRP Has Been an Emotional Ride, Admit Investors

Ripple’s native token XRP plunged to the day’s low of $1.03 on Monday. The leading altcoin is now just a stone’s throw from falling to $0.99. This acts as a major psychological zone where investors will begin to grow skeptical of the cryptocurrency due to its lacklustre performance. The altcoin could not maintain any of its support zones from the $3.65 level, indicating that its strength is waning.

X Finance Bull, who is a part of the cryptocurrency community, finally admitted on X that holding on to XRP has been one of the most emotional rides for investors. “I will admit that holding XRP has been an emotional ride,” he said, while the altcoin fell to $1.03. “I know so many that bought in above $3 as they were advised to invest. And now we have a Senate that wants to see Americans lose,” said another user under the tweet.

The last couple of months have been harsh for XRP holders due to the drastic price downturn. While Bitcoin and Ethereum have been seeing price spurts once in a blue moon, the same is not the case for Ripple’s token, as the only way it is moving is backward. No amount of bullish price predictions and chart readings has helped its price move upward. This has been the most disheartening year for traders in this segment.

Now that XRP is close to falling below $1, we’ll have to wait and watch if it attracts buying sentiment. If traders buy the dips and the token experiences buying pressure, chances of it going north remain high. However, if the buying pressure falls flat despite it trading at $0.90, XRP can fall further. Nobody is able to guess when the leading altcoin could bottom out in value. This is what’s making its price stay on a slippery slope throughout 2026.
