NVIDIA and LG Group team up to build AI factories powering robotics, mobility, and advanced computing infrastructure, reshaping global AI innovation.

NVIDIA (NASDAQ: NVDA) and LG Group are joining forces to build an AI factory, aiming to accelerate innovation across robotics, autonomous driving, and advanced AI infrastructure. This collaboration leverages NVIDIA’s full-stack AI technologies alongside LG’s expertise in consumer electronics, mobility, and smart manufacturing.

At its core, the AI factory will provide LG with a unified infrastructure for training, simulating, and deploying AI-driven solutions. NVIDIA’s platforms, including its Isaac robotics frameworks and Cosmos world foundation models, will enable LG to simulate and validate applications like home robots and industrial automation systems in virtual environments before deployment. This approach minimizes development cycles while enhancing precision.

Transforming Robotics and Manufacturing

LG Electronics is already using NVIDIA’s Isaac Sim and Isaac GR00T frameworks to develop advanced home robots, such as CLoiD, designed to perform household tasks with humanlike reasoning. Beyond personal robotics, the factory’s AI-driven ecosystem is set to redefine industrial manufacturing. Real-time data connectivity will enable LG to build autonomous manufacturing processes, from raw material sourcing to logistics and customer delivery.

LG Innotek, another LG subsidiary, is contributing state-of-the-art sensors optimized for NVIDIA’s AI systems. These components are expected to support NVIDIA’s GPU architecture, further enhancing robotics capabilities and aligning with a next-generation smart factory standard.

Scaling AI Factories With NVIDIA DSX

The partnership extends to scalable infrastructure for advanced AI factories, based on NVIDIA’s DSX platform. LG Electronics and LG Energy Solution are working on modular, power-efficient AI factory designs, integrating NVIDIA’s cutting-edge GPUs and liquid cooling technologies. Additionally, LG Uplus is building AI data centers to accommodate the computational demands of future AI cloud services.

These factories, equipped with NVIDIA DSX technologies, will address the increasing need for high-performance, scalable AI systems, particularly as AI adoption accelerates in industries like logistics, manufacturing, and telecommunications.

Driving AI Mobility and Autonomous Vehicles

NVIDIA’s collaboration with LG extends into mobility through the NVIDIA DRIVE platform. LG Electronics aims to align its autonomous driving technologies and advanced driver-assistance systems (ADAS) with NVIDIA’s sensor, compute, and software architectures. The partnership also targets AI-powered cockpits and edge AI solutions for automotive applications, strengthening LG’s position in the global mobility market.

Context and Market Impact

This announcement comes as NVIDIA cements its leadership in the AI ecosystem. On June 7, 2026, the company also unveiled a multiyear partnership with SK hynix to develop memory technologies for AI factories. Earlier this month, NVIDIA and OpenAI announced plans to build 10 gigawatts of AI data centers, reinforcing NVIDIA’s dominance in AI infrastructure.

As of June 6, NVIDIA shares traded at $205.10, with a market capitalization of $5 trillion. While the stock has dipped 6.2% over the past 24 hours, the company’s aggressive expansion into AI factories and partnerships with global leaders like LG Group could catalyze long-term growth.

For LG Group, this collaboration positions the company as a leader in robotics and AI-driven manufacturing. By integrating NVIDIA’s platforms, LG aims to set new global standards for smart factories while expanding its portfolio in mobility and autonomous systems.

Traders and investors will be watching closely as NVIDIA and LG roll out these initiatives, with the first scalable AI factories likely to impact global AI infrastructure development in the coming years. The partnership underscores NVIDIA’s strategy of embedding its technologies across the entire AI value chain, from hardware to application-specific solutions.
