Blockchain platform Polygon’s community Discord channel has been compromised. Its Chief Information Security officer confirmed the breach and has urged the users to avoid clicking on any links shared within the Discord channel until the situation is fully resolved. This incident has raised concerns about security measures, even though all privileged accounts had two-factor authentication enabled. The support channel on Polygon’s Discord was flooded with people seeking help, while they were also misled by scammers who posed as legitimate support agents. Another user also reported a loss of $150,000 worth of Ether (ETH) from his pool.
