Ripple’s native token XRP climbed to the $1.13 range on Thursday after falling to $1.04 last week. The altcoin has risen nearly 5% this month and has managed to remain afloat above the $1 level. Fears were rife that the altcoin could plunge below $0.90, but it contained its price, assuring traders that a recovery could be on the cards. In this article, we will highlight how high the altcoin can trade next month, so traders can decide to take an entry position or skip it altogether.

XRP August Price Prediction
Leading on-chain metrics and price prediction firm CoinCodex has painted an average picture for XRP for August. According to the price prediction, the leading altcoin could trade around the same level with little to no gains. The price forecast estimates that the cryptocurrency could reach a high of $1.15, which is only two Cents from its current price. It also marks a surge of approximately 1.15%.
An uptick so thin does not allow room to sell, as the trading fees eat up a bigger pie of the profit. This makes selling hard, and investments remain stagnant. The altcoin market is not living up to traders’ expectations in 2026, after it attracted large buying pressure in several spouts of 2024 and 2025. The market is in a different condition this year, where even Bitcoin and Ethereum are struggling to find stability in the charts.
It took XRP seven years from 2018 to 2025 to reclaim the $3 level, and it is now at square one, falling to its 2018 lows. Traders fear that it could take another seven years to climb above $3 again, and even that is not guaranteed. Ripple’s XRP is also at risk of meeting a similar fate to its counterpart, Cardano’s ADA. The altcoin is struggling to climb above $0.20 and has remained stagnant for months.
