Uniswap (UNI)’s Pools launchpad offers new token listing options on Robinhood Chain, integrating DeFi tools like autocompounding liquidity and sniping mitigation.

Uniswap (UNI) Labs has introduced Pools, a dedicated launchpad for tokens on Robinhood Chain, a newly launched Ethereum Layer 2 network optimized for onchain finance. Available at pools.trade, the platform lets users create, bid on, and trade tokens directly, leveraging features like autocompounding liquidity and sniping protection.

Robinhood Chain went live in July 2026, built on the Arbitrum Layer 2 platform. The blockchain supports tokenized real-world assets (RWAs), including stocks, ETFs, and private assets, offering higher throughput, lower fees, and fast settlement times. Pools is Uniswap’s latest effort to tap into this ecosystem, where Robinhood aims to bridge traditional finance with decentralized protocols.

Key Features of Pools

Pools introduces several mechanisms aimed at addressing common pain points in token launches:

  • Autocompounding Liquidity: Liquidity provider (LP) fees automatically reinvest into the pool, enhancing liquidity over time.
  • Sniping Mitigation: Token creators can purchase tokens in the same block as the launch, preventing bots from exploiting price inefficiencies.
  • Permanent Locked Liquidity: Liquidity is protocol-held and cannot be withdrawn by the token creator, ensuring stability.
  • No Added Launchpad Fees: Pools charges a flat 0.25% LP fee, significantly lower than the 1% typical on other platforms.

Creators can also opt for a 0.05% fee on trades, incentivizing higher trading activity. Tokens launched on Pools immediately integrate with Uniswap’s ecosystem, including its web app, wallet, launches platform, and third-party aggregators like Metamask and Ledger.

Launch Options: Crowd vs. Instant

Pools offers two launch formats, catering to different project needs:

Crowd Launch Instant Launch
Launch Window 4 hours Immediate
Mechanism TWAP-based bidding Bonding curve pricing
Liquidity Outcome Deep, locked liquidity Locked liquidity
Graduation Requirement $10,000 FDV or refunds None

The Crowd Launch format enables fairer token distribution through a time-weighted average price (TWAP) mechanism, while Instant Launch prioritizes speed and simplicity. Both methods lock liquidity permanently into Uniswap v4 pools.

Expanding Robinhood Chain’s Use Case

Robinhood Chain, launched in partnership with Arbitrum, positions itself as a hub for tokenized financial assets like U.S. stocks and ETFs. This aligns with Robinhood’s broader strategy to integrate traditional financial products into blockchain ecosystems, offering features like 24/5 access and dividend support for eligible European users.

Pools extends this vision by enabling projects to launch tokens that benefit from Robinhood Chain’s low transaction costs and Ethereum-grade security. The inclusion of advanced DeFi tools by Uniswap enhances the appeal for developers looking to launch RWAs or other crypto assets on the chain.

Implications for Users

Pools simplifies the token launch process while integrating liquidity solutions that mitigate risks like front-running and liquidity rug-pulls. The reduced fees make it an attractive alternative for creators, while traders gain access to a diverse token market tied to Robinhood’s infrastructure and Uniswap’s liquidity network.

To participate, users can visit pools.trade to launch tokens or trade directly. The legal framework restricts Pools to memecoins, which are highly speculative and carry significant risks. For other asset types, projects must use Robinhood’s Compliant Corporate Assets (CCA) framework, subject to regulatory requirements.

With Robinhood Chain gaining traction in tokenized finance and Uniswap extending its reach via Pools, this collaboration underscores the growing convergence of traditional financial instruments and DeFi innovation.
