Back in March 2026, regulators at the SEC and the CFTC apparently called XRP, XLM and HBAR examples of digital commodities, and that label explains a lot of why September 15 matters so much. The House passed the XRP CLARITY Act 294-134, along with support from 78 Democrats, and the Senate Banking Committee moved it forward too on a 15-9 vote. X Finance Bull named September 15, at 2:15 p.m. ET, as the next checkpoint to watch, which is exactly what XRP holders should mark down for September 15.

Institutional Momentum Behind The Vote
Ripple is already building some of the infrastructure across all three networks, and that explains part of why the September 15 vote is getting so much attention. RLUSD and tokenized funds tie into XRP, Stellar moved $11.4 billion in stablecoin transfers during the second quarter, and Hedera’s tokenized value through Archax even crossed $300 million. Once regulators set the rules, XRP holders could also see some clarity on how banks might handle payments, custody and lending.
